What insurances do you accept?

We accept Tricare, Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP and most commercial insurance plans. If you need more information regarding your insurance plan, you may contact our office directly at (210)829-5180.

How young do your providers see patients?

Our dermatologists see patients of all ages, including adult and pediatric.

How do I schedule an appointment?

You may schedule an appointment through our online scheduling tool here.

You may also contact us by email by sending an appointment request to scheduling@texasdls.com. We will respond with an appointment confirmation. Please include the following information when requesting an appointment by email:

-Full legal name

-Date of birth

-Phone number

-Reason for visit

-Insurance name and ID number

How do I cancel an appointment to avoid a cancellation or No Show Fee?

You may schedule an appointment through our online scheduling tool here.

To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please email scheduling@texasdls.com or call our office at (210)829-5180. Appointments must be cancelled within 48 hours of your scheduled visit to avoid a $50 fee.

Where can I access New Patient paperwork to fill out?

You may print out New Patient paperwork here and bring to your scheduled visit. You may also fill out New Patient paperwork online, here. Please inform the front desk when you arrive that you have completed online.

What is my Patient Portal login?

If you provided your email address upon checking in, your patient portal username will be your email address. A password request will be sent to your email address with instructions to complete your Patient Portal registration. If needed, please call our office at (210)829-5180 to provide us with your email address.

When will my prescription be ready to pick up from my preferred pharmacy?

If you receive a new prescription, we ask that you allow at least 24 hours for it to be processed to your pharmacy. Our providers send out all prescriptions within 24 hours of your appointment, however, your pharmacy and insurance may require more time to insure coverage.

How do I request a refill on my prescription?

You may request a refill through your Patient Portal.

In message, please include medication name and preferred pharmacy to send to. Your request will be received by the appropriate Physician medical staff and finalized within 24 – 48 hours.

How do I request to add or change my pharmacy?

You may add or change pharmacies through the Patient Portal.

  • Enter pharmacy information and click ‘Search’
  • Add selected pharmacy
How do I pay my bill?

For patient convenience, payments may be made online here. Please include the full name of the patient for payment to be applied for. For all other billing inquiries, you may email billing@texasdls.com or call our office at (210)829-5180.

Do you provide ear piercing services?

Yes, we provide for ages 3 months and older. Please note, patients under the age of 18 must have a legal guardian/ parent present for ear piercings. Infants will be required to have current immunizations.

Do you provide skin tag removal and is it covered by insurance?

Yes, we offer skin tag removal as a cosmetic procedure, however it is not covered by insurance. The price of skin tag removal will be discussed during your appointment with your provider.
