Gabriel Leal, BS, CCRC
Gabriel Leal, BS CCRC graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX with a BS in Biology in 2010. While there, he conducted research in Developmental Biology focusing on stem cell migration as well as completing a post-baccalaureate program in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He began his career in clinical research working as a Research Coordinator in Phases 1-3 in various indications where he eventually became the Division Manager of the Phase 1 unit. Joining Drs. Browning and Fowler as the Site Director at Texas Dermatology in May 2016, Gabriel brings five years of experience and is excited to be a part of the team.
John Browning, MD, F.A.A.D., F.A.A.P.
John Browning, MD, F.A.A.D, F.A.A.P., is board certified in pediatrics, dermatology, and pediatric dermatology. As the Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Dermatology and the Chief of Staff of Pediatric Dermatology, Dr. Browning has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating skin conditions in patients of all ages. Dr. Browning obtained his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University Honors Program; he then received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School in Galveston and continued his pediatric residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Browning also completed his residency in dermatology at the Baylor College of Medicine; he was Chief Resident in 2006-2007. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Pediatric Dermatology Fellow.
Dr. Browning is the Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Dermatology at Baylor College of Medicine and at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He will also serve as the Chief of Dermatology at the Children’s Hospital of San Antonio.
MALINI FOWLER, MD, FAAD
Malini Fowler, M.D., F.A.A.D. is board certified in dermatology. Dr. Fowler began her education at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology. She obtained her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas. Dr. Fowler continued her postgraduate education with a general surgery internship and completed a dermatology residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
During medical school, Dr. Fowler was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and served as chief resident during her final year of dermatology residency. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Jacquelyn Reyna Stovall, DNP, APRN, FNP- BC, CNE
Jacquelyn Reyna Stovall, DNP, APRN, FNP- BC, CNE has been a nurse since 1995 with extensive experience in medical-surgical, telemetry, and oncology. Beginning her nursing career as an LVN, she then received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas Health Science Center in 2000. In 2010, she obtained her Master’s of Science in Nursing as a clinical nurse educator with a certificate in Evidence Based Practice and Nursing Education from The University of Texas in El Paso. In 2011, she graduated with a post-master’s certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner from The University of Massachusetts in Boston. In August of 2015, she was awarded her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Chatham University. Dr. Stovall has been a nurse educator since 2005, is a National League of Nursing Certified Nurse Educator, and an Association of Nurse Credentialing Center board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
Dr. Stovall joined the Texas Dermatology family in July of 2014, where she is receiving comprehensive training in adult and pediatric dermatology. She considers herself blessed to be a part of such a forward-thinking group that is changing the face of dermatology care.
